State-Of-The-Art Technology

We are pleased to be in our newly constructed office. We have integrated into its design, the latest in dental technology to help us deliver high quality dental care with more convenience, comfort, and safety to our patients.

Digital Radiography

All dental radiographs are taken using digital sensors. Compared with traditional films, the amount of x-ray exposure is reduced by 30-50 percent. The radiographic images appear on the computer screen in a very detailed image for both the doctor and patient to view. This is important for both diagnosis and patient education.

CEREC Restorations

Through modern CAD-CAM technology, it is now possible in many cases to create porcelain restorations in one visit. With the CEREC system, onlays, crowns, and partial crowns can be made and cemented in a single dental visit. This eliminates the need for return visits or the need to wear a temporary restoration. Additionally, many teeth that would have needed full crowns using past techniques, can now be restored with onlays or partial crowns, preserving more of the natural tooth structure.

Dental Chair Potato

What did you say? That’s right, the dental chair potato. Although the name is a little odd, this equipment is the ultimate in making dental appointments more enjoyable. Through an integrated media hub, the patient can view through a 17” LCD monitor located directly above them, DVD’s or cable TV. Wireless headphones are used to provide sound and muffle the background noise. Why not be entertained while your dental work is completed?

Digital Photography

Our philosophy is to educate our patients about their dental health. Through photography we encourage the patient to become involved with co-diagnosis. It is important to us that each patient understands any dental problem they may have, and together we can determine how to best treat the problem.

Sterilization Center

Our sterilization center is located in clear view to the treatment areas. We want our patients to know that every precaution is taken to safeguard their health while undergoing dental treatment. Instruments are processed through a systematic protocol which includes going through a high heat, high pressure dishwasher to be cleaned prior to going through the actual sterilization process. Systematic monitoring of the process is ensured by regular spore tests through an offsite laboratory. You can be sure that instruments used in our office have been thoroughly sterilized.
